Iron ores are rocks and minerals from which metallic iron can be economically extracted. The ores are usually rich in iron oxides and vary in color from dark grey, bright yellow, deep purple, to rusty red. Thermal coal is principally used for power generation, with approx. 39% of the world's electricity generated through the use of thermal coal. Coal is a readily combustible black or brownish-black sedimentary rock normally occurring in rock strata in layers or veins called coal beds.
We are the regular importer of Indian origin fine and lumps and we are successfully importing over 1.0 million mt per annum from India with a turnover of US$ 100 million from the Indian trade. We also involved in trading of iron ore pellets from Bahrain to Indonesia with an annual imports averaging to 0.5 million tons and a turn over of about USD 25 million.
